The Art of Becoming: Living Fully into God’s Masterpiece Design

I help women come alive to their lives and find freedom, purpose, and transformation.

Women are busy; so busy. Yet with everything we do, there’s still this longing inside of us for something more. We don’t realize that the thought patterns that are running on repeat in our minds are shaping the very lives that we are longing to get more from. We don’t stop to reflect on how we’re not living up to our full potential. We don’t even stop to reflect on what our full potential may be! We are so busy, we often can’t recognize the beauty and abundance God has placed in our lives and the miracles that are all around us at any given moment. We want to live on purpose; we just don’t know how. We want to be free; we just don’t know if it’s possible.

That longing is on purpose. And I want to help you come alive to your life and find freedom, transformation, and your purpose! If you’ve ever felt like you’re not living with your whole heart—lacking purpose, joy, or excitement—or worry if you are merely living from a head-space faith that hasn’t made its way to your heart, and you just don’t know how to move. Oh please hear me when I say: there is a better way! On the other side of your fear or uncertainty is TRANSFORMATION and RENEWAL!

Through my unique program—The Art of Becoming: Living Fully into God’s Masterpiece Design - shaped by years of personal growth, study, proven strategies, creative expression, and my own journey of healing and trauma recovery—I help women step into the fullness of who God created them to be. My coaching blends real-life experience, biblical truth, and transformative practices designed to help you thrive with purpose and joy. Together, we’ll uncover the clarity, direction, and encouragement you need to unlock the vibrant, abundant life that’s already waiting for you in Christ.

I’ve done the hard work, and now my deepest desire is to walk alongside others as they step into their God-given potential, purpose, and the abundant life He has promised.

The program, an overview

The Art of Becoming is unique because it draws from a wide range of resources I’ve studied, lived, and tested in real life. In God’s grace, He turned even my lowest moments into a foundation of wisdom and turned my mess into my message. When the world was busy turning around me, I was often at home reading every book I could about healing while highlighting, underlining, and annotating every nugget I’d want to embody, studying God’s word, praying fervently, devouring podcasts while writing “healing” curriculums for myself, and what I’d later discover, for others, and doing the hard, uncomfortable work of healing past and current wounds. I failed a lot, and still do, but now I see my failures as gifts and fuel for the continuing process of becoming like Christ and living in his abundance and joy. All of these years of long-suffering and trauma work, I didn’t realize that I was also preparing for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).

 My journey to arrive here

After many years of long-suffering, I felt like an empty shell of myself, yet I never stopped believing that God had a better way for me, and I kept striving to discover where I could find it. Always a “good Christian,” I did all the things I thought I was supposed to be doing. I had a deep love for the Lord, a genuine desire to know him more intimately, and regularly practiced all the spiritual disciplines I could fit into my days. I discovered that I was, indeed, doing everything I thought I could, but I needed to allow God to do a work in me first.

I was 46 when I finally woke up to my life and if I can taste and see a glimpse of this better way, oh believe me, friend, you can, too.

I realize now how the various long sufferings I endured that brought me to empty myself, the pervasive longing I felt, and the seemingly endless search for something ‘more’ were all a part of God’s plan to wake me up. Even losing our home and all of my family’s belongings, our dogs’ lives, our children’s and my health, and my husband’s and my jobs, thus learning to become fully reliant on God and His provisions, didn’t seem to be the missing pieces for my transformation.

This awakening didn’t happen all at once. My journey (still ongoing) includes extensive therapy; reading all the books on the Christian walk, suffering well, healing, and personal growth and development; engaging in programs, even developing a few with my gained experiences, like Sacred Art Journaling; and meeting with mentors who help; and prayer - so much prayer. There are many more contributors along this journey, too many to mention, but I can see how I was led to these resources at the right time. I would not have been ready to receive some of them well until another had been accomplished first. It’s clear to see how I have never been alone.

The changes were subtle, but I noticed that as I was healing, I was able to experience a different intimacy with the LORD, one that I had never, in all of my “good Christian” years, experienced before. I began to embody the promises He had for me, and not just memorize the scriptures about them. I have always been an overly hopeful person, even in the darkest nights of my suffering and pain. But even my hope was changing. Instead of placing my hope only in my future, I began feeling excited and energized about hope for my present, even hope for processing my past. I began to believe there was a better life for me, right here and now, and I was ready to do the work needed to create that life for myself.

The LORD guided me to mindset work, but since mindset work is not for the faint of heart, He knew I’d have to be ready; I’d have to have a hunger, willingness, and passion for it. In His perfect timing, I became a baseball coach, and you know what has been my focus on the coaching staff? Mindset work! I saw the power of mindset work in athletes and learned everything I could to understand the power of our mindsets as they relate to the outcomes of our lives. God was preparing me through it all, and I was finally ready to do the work for myself.

God, in His gracious loving-kindness and perfect timing, brought me through all of this so I can be here now: fully awake to my life. He created me with a deep desire and passion to share what I’ve learned with others. He showed me that every part of my life, from my character and personality attributes, to the work, life, and relationship experiences I’ve lived, the suffering and refining, and all of my unique skills and talents have come together, like an Esther moment, “for such a time as this. The longing is no longer.

I believe our passions are God’s gifts to us. And our purpose is our gift back to God. When we use our passions to serve and love others well, we are glorifying God and living our most purposeful and abundant lives. Don’t you think the Creator wants to see his creation living the way they were intended to live? Of course He does!

Coaching has always been a part of who I am. Even early on, I was the friend people turned to for honest, wise, and thoughtful guidance. I took that responsibility seriously then, and I still do today. From a young age, I’ve had a strong moral compass and sense of right and wrong, and over time, my values have only deepened through my relationship with Jesus Christ. Today, my life and coaching is rooted in biblical truth and grounded in a desire to love others well.

My life verse, Colossians 3:23, says: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” That verse is more than a motto—it’s the foundation of how I live and coach. I believe my purpose isn’t about me; it’s about using the gifts God has given me to serve others and make a lasting impact for His Kingdom.

As a coach and in my program, The Art of Becoming: Living Fully into God’s Masterpiece Design, I strive to lead with integrity, compassion, wisdom, and encouragement. I’m loyal, trustworthy, kind, empathetic, warm, and approachable—someone people feel comfortable with. I’m also passionate about excellence in everything I do, bringing energy, fun, and a little joy to every session. I’m grateful for the unique gifts and experiences God has created in me that I use to help others and love them well. It’s a privilege, honor, and blessing to coach another person into freedom and transformation.

Your questions answered

  • Working with a Christian life coach is a unique experience because it’s not just about setting goals or making changes—it’s about aligning your whole life with God’s truth and living out your faith with intention.

In our sessions, we will work together to explore the parts of your life that need pruning to allow more fruit to grow, and a plan to start the pruning! We’ll explore your dreams, fears, habits, spiritual disciplines, thought patterns, and the places you feel stuck. We will work together to find a way to wake up, come unstuck, and start fully living! We’ll pray together, reflect on Scripture, and invite the Holy Spirit into the process so that your growth is rooted in God’s wisdom.

You’ll be encouraged, supported, and also gently challenged to move past what’s holding you back. I’ll help you clarify your vision, discover new possibilities, and take practical steps forward—all while keeping Christ at the center.

The goal isn’t just temporary change—it’s lasting transformation. Together, we’ll focus on renewing your mind, cultivating joy and peace, and stepping boldly into the abundant life God has called you to.

  • I am happy to work with a client who does not want a Christian-based program. However, I do not hide that I am Christian and that Christ was the biggest part of my transformation. The client should take that into consideration before choosing to work with me. With that said, a lot of the work we’ll do is universally transformative and does not have to be Christian-based or influenced.

  • A therapist helps you heal your past, a mentor shares wisdom from their own journey, and a life coach helps you clarify your goals and move forward with intention. A Christian life coach does all of that with Christ at the center—rooting the process in Scripture, prayer, and God’s guidance so you can step into the life He’s calling you to with clarity, peace, and purpose.

I am also a certified therapeutic arts practitioner and much of my training was in therapy-based practices, though I am not licensed, nor do I diagnose or treat any mental health conditions.

  • Every coaching journey looks a little different depending on your goals and needs. Sessions vary in length and can take place over several weeks, months, or even years, giving us time to create steady growth and lasting change. We’ll begin by getting to know where you are right now—using conversation and simple assessment tools to clarify your strengths, challenges, and desires. From there, we’ll identify key areas to focus on and work through a mix of practical tools, reflective exercises, and meaningful discussions. Together, we’ll invite God into the process, explore new perspectives, and create intentional steps forward so you can experience real growth, freedom, and transformation.

  • I’ve thoughtfully developed the tools in my coaching program through years of learning, testing, and refining until they were ready to guide others on their own transformation journey. These tools draw from a rich blend of resources—biblical truth, the coaching program I am in, my own life experiences and healing journey, insights from therapy and trauma recovery, limbic system rewiring practices, the wisdom of mentors, as well as countless books, podcasts, trainings, certifications, the curriculums I’ve designed in my ministry programs, as well as through my creative arts practice. All of this has been prayerfully woven together into a unique program designed to help you grow, heal, and live fully into who God created you to be.

  • There are many wonderful coaches out there and we all have our own style and unique offerings and personalities. You’ll want to find a coach you feel safe with and comfortable around and I hope I can be that for you. What makes my coaching unique is the way I combine faith, creativity, and my real-life experiences of not only the trauma and healing work I’ve done, but the many roles I’ve served in life as mom, wife, parent of children with physical and mental health challenges, coach, friend, ministry leader, business woman, poet, artist, and many more. I don’t just teach tools—I’ve lived them. I’ve walked through my own healing and transformation journey, invested deeply in training, certifications, and mentorship, and woven it all together with biblical truth and prayer. My approach is both practical and Spirit-led: I’ll meet you right where you are, listen deeply, and equip you with personalized tools to help you grow. If you’re looking for a coach who blends faith, proven strategies, and a genuine heart for your transformation, that’s where I come in. Plus, I’m fun, passionate about a lot of things (we’ll have things in common), and people tell me I’m funny.
